HAROLD GRAY
has performed throughout the United States and in Europe and Asia as soloist and pianist of the Florestan Trio (USA). For five years he directed a summer festival in the Vallee du Lot in France which brought together musicians from Europe and the United States for chamber music performances in the villages of the area.
In addition to performing and teaching courses in anatomy for musicians, Harold is Founder and Artistic Director of Portland Piano International. The organization presents an annual series of recitals and master classes, and also a summer festival which will celebrate its 11th season in 2009.
He has served as collaborative pianist with such artists as William Warfield, Barry Tuckwell and Gregor Piatigorsky, and has appeared on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts on two occasions.
Harold retired as Professor of Music from Portland State University in 2006.

Ian Brown (Course III) has recorded extensively for Hyperion, and performs worldwide with the Nash Ensemble. His career embraces chamber music, solo and duo playing and conducting.
Charles Owen (Course I) has received great acclaim for his recordings of Poulenc and Janacek, and will release a disc of Fauré's Nocturnes
(Avie) in Spring 2008.
