STEFAN BOJSTEN (Course III) is one of the most established and well known pianists in Sweden. He has been soloist with most of the Swedish orchestras, and as well as a soloist he is active as a chamber musician, performing frequently in Scandinavia, Great Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Rumania China and USA.


Among the awards that Stefan Bojsten has obtained, the most prestigious was in 1985 when the Bojsten–Almgren duo won the first prize in one of the world's largest chamber music competitions, the Premio Vittorio Gui in Florence, which resulted in invitations to festivals and tours all over Europe.


In 1986 Stefan Bojsten, violinist Dan Almgren and cellist Torleif Thedéen formed the Stockholm Arts Trio. The piano trio became internationally established and was invited to the Bath Festival in Great Britain and to the Carnegie Hall in New York.

As a teacher Stefan Bojsten has given master classes in USA and Russia, and from 1997 he has been Professor and Head of Department at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm . He is vice president of the Swedish Piano Teachers Association (EPTA Sweden), as well as president of the assiciation for 19th century keyboard instruments in Sweden, Klaverens Hus.

Stefan Bojsten has made recordings under the labels Polar, Caprice, Fermat, Artemis, Map, Recut, Musica Sveciae, BIS and Naxos.
