BURSARIES
A number of bursaries are available in 2008 to students on the Advanced Course who are currently enrolled either at a school, conservatory or university, or who are in the early stages of a career in music.
In most cases the bursary will provide half the fees towards dormitory accommodation or a camping place (according to preference and availability). In exceptional cases a full bursary may be offered.
Those in receipt of bursaries may be asked to give the occasional lesson to participants on the Intermediate Course, amounting to no more than three hours during their stay at Castelfranc. These lessons will be in addition to the regular classes for Intermediate participants.
Applicants will need to show financial need, and provide a reference from a teacher or head of department in support of their application.
Applicants may also be asked to attend an audition.
Initially applicants should apply by post or by e-mail, enclosing or attaching a CV. References can follow later.
